a better alternative to Gatorade?

does anyone know of a different (better) drink or something i could make myself that has similar to gatorade properties?
gatorade seems to be the only thing that helps me to bring up my milk supply a little more. drinking simply water or juices or teas or water with electrolytes doesnt really do the trick. im not sure what it is about gatorade, i guess just the combination of stuff thats in there...
thanks!

I agree with coconut water, and cooking with coconut milk and CO oil.

Also, bone broth. Bone broth is very good for balancing electrolytes, restoring minerals, hydrating, nourishing and therefore could be beneficial in increasing milk supply.

This is why (great great) grandma's chicken soup was so good when anyone was sick, and why campbells is such a poor substitute.

There's a drink called Recharge made by Knudsen's that is a much healthier alternative to Gatorade. I get it at my local health food store, but I think Whole Foods sells it as well. It's just fruit juice, water and electrolytes (mostly from sea salt). It tastes a lot better than Gatorade!

Here's my MW's laborade recipe. It worked wonders for me during labor.

1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup honey (or to taste)
1/4 tsp salt
2 crushed calcium/magnesium tablets
water to make 4 cups

Put it all in the blender, mix well, and freeze (although, I think we kept it in the fridge when I was in labor - can't remember)

I drank this at my birth and it was SO delicious!

* 2 Cups Water
* 2 Cups Apple Juice
* Salt to taste
* Honey to taste
* 1-2 Fresh Squeezed Lemons
