any interest in a round robin swap?

If there is enough interest, I'd be happy to organize and get things going in the swaps forum.

I saw the idea on Ravelry. It works like this: a box full of yarn crafting goodies will be sent to each member in turn. You take what you like out of the box, and put something back in, of equal or greater value. You pay to ship the box to the next person on the list. I will keep all addresses and only give yours only to the person shipping to you.

What do you think? Should I start the swap?

I might be up for this. I've got some yarn stashed that I'd like to trade. What happens to the last person?

I would be the first and last person.

This sounds like a cool idea. Yarns and needles, etc?

I like this idea. How about knitting books? I think I have a few that I could stand to get rid of.

I'd be in too. I have some books, needles, and yarn I wouldn't mind swapping.

I'd be in on this - sounds like fun! Would it be something like a flat rate box, so that if a particularly heavy book gets put in, the people afterwards wouldn't have to spend a fortune in shipping?

Ooh, I think this sounds like fun, too! I especially like the idea of a flat-rate box, but I wonder if that would restrict us to only U.S. addresses?

oh this sounds like a lovely idea! I would be in for something like that!

I'm in!

Sounds like fun to me! Can we include crocheting items as well?

I vote "yes" on the crochet stuff.

I want to join, too!

I've done this before and it's a lot of fun.

Yippee! I'm so excited by the response! I'm heading out of town tomorrow, so I'm heading over to the swap forum now to get this open. I'll be back with a link.

I am in Ontario right now. If I had had the idea a few weeks earlier, I could have started it while I'm here. I won't be back until June unfortunately.
