Getting started. Is this right?

Brand new diapers and covers. Covers are Thirsties Duo. I washed them in hot water with no soap and dried them on medium heat. I am planning to hang them to dry when I actually use them.
Diapers are white Snugglebottoms Velcro. I washed them twice in hot water with Allen's soap. I am now going to dry them on medium heat, I guess, because it doesn't say in the instructions.
I am ocnfused by the instructions as they are a bit generalized and these are different from the cloth diapers I've used in the past and it's been a while.
Does that sound right? Am I ready to go?
Thanks, Moms!

Your fine snuggleups were our first true CD and they worked well there not the most assorbant but there great diapers and there isn't really anything you can do to harm them.

Not absorbant? So does this mean lots of leaks?

Usually if a diaper is not as absorbent, as long as you change it often enough, it should be fine! Are the Snugglebottoms a fitted diaper then? I have never heard of them either!

people on another board i post on said the absorbancy was fine. its different for every baby though. they are a great value. i want to try some, but im afraid to buy anything right now due to my dd's super long bum-crack @@.
