♥♥♥ 40 weeks today ♥♥♥

Okay, I'm going to have to start a post-dates support thread in a few days if this baby doesn't show up soon!
Isn't it neat to know every morning when you wake up that your little girl may be born today? That is what helped me go past my due date. It starts to be a little like Groundhog Day. Every morning you wake up thinking the same thing...until that baby is born. When will time slow down so much again? Try to enjoy it. I know it can be hard. Congrats on 40 weeks!

Aww! I'll be right there with you on Friday if my baby doesn't show up by then!

Come on babies! Yes... it could be any moment now! (Even if that is becoming hard to believe... lol)

those little hearts in the title are soooo cute...never seen that before

congratz on making it to your due date! How cool would it be if we both have our babies on the same day

I'm right with you... today was my due date. No sign of baby yet, though. DD was 4 days late but I was so sure this one would be at least on time!!

Except this time you're having a boy and boys are notoriously late. Dunno why Kara is taking her time. Apparently she doesn't like being told what to do LOL!

Lucia, I hope it's not because she is malpositioned - I read this could cause labor to be delayed in moms who usually have their babies before their due date (Me). I don't know what to do about it. I guess tomorrow I will go for a nice long walk. I already took some castor oil, but I've abused the stuff in the past and it doesn't seem to be doing much for me. I'm so upset that my DP went ahead and took his vacation time without asking me - what if the baby doesn't come for a week or two, then I will have no help after the baby is born.

Spinning babies, hun. Best way to get her positioned optimally. Are you having any back or pelvic pain? That's usually the biggest give away for a malposition. Tell DP to get his butt back to work, you need him PP not now! She might just need a little more time, as hard as it is to wait. I just hope she's not waiting for Malcolm .

I might need to take another look at that spinning babies stuff. I'm not having any significant back/pelvic pain though. I don't know what is wrong with DP, he told me the other day he talked to his bosses at work and that he was going to work up until the baby was born (because they were asking him when he was leaving). It is what he has done with the other two kids (same job). But if he thinks he's going to sit around the house and chill, he's sorely mistaken. I've already let him know we have LOTS to do tomorrow, and I'm pretty sure I can find some more work for him to do after that, if we haven't had her yet . Honestly, the main reason I want him here after the baby is born is to help with Caden, since he's still a baby and won't understand why I can't give him all the attention he still wants and needs. I was counting on having DP there to ease the transition, fought hard to get him to ask for the time off, and now he's just wasting it. Grr.

Technically, Malcolm should be first, since you were due a week ahead of me, I'll feel bad if I have my baby before you do! So hurry up already! Actually, I think you're handling things very well considering your situation, you have the patience of a saint! s

Pah! If it turns out she phoned ahead with reservations then she comes first. I'm not out of the realm of normal (for me) yet. DS was late and I knew this one would be too. You're now further along then you ever have been. Still of a normal gestation but here there be dragons. And if my daily whining is handling it well then w00t .

I think it really could be malpositioning. My midwife said based on my Braxton Hicks, cervical changes, I should have had this baby by now. Then she palpated and DD is posterior with her head WAY UP.

Try the spinning babies stuff, I've been doing it since my appointment and I hope it works!
