Hi I stop by here occasionally. I am due around July 12th, with my second baby. I am very much hoping to get a spot in the birth center, so I can be attended by a midwife and have a vbac.

I love how so many of us will have about the 3 year age gap between siblings. I sure hope that works out well for us!
My first two girls are 2 yrs 10 mos apart and it is perfect. They are 7 and 10 now and very close and so many of their friends are spaced the same so there are lots of dual sleepovers. I am not so sure about this one being 8 (!) years younger...

Hi Christa! Do you have any idea about your EDD? Or do you just want me to put you in the "some time in July" categorie?

Welcome, Somegirl and others! I recognize you from the TTC #1 in our 30s thread--nice to see another graduate here!

Hi!

EDD: Late July. Not positive yet. I may move to August; we'll see.
Name: ProtoLawyer (sorry, I do want to remain anonymous)
Age: 34
Location: Milwaukee
Family (partner, other children, etc): Husband (34), stepdaughter (7)
Gender preferences/inklings: I've inkled that it's a boy, but I have nothing to base it on. (My husband has had boy inklings, too.) Right now, I don't even know it's viable.
Names you like: Lyla for a girl ("love you lots, always" was how my husband and I signed our emails when we were long-distance); don't have one for a boy.
Birth Plans/Preferences: I joke that I will refuse to admit I'm in full labor (because I don't want to be that woman who goes to the hospital and gets sent home because nothing's happening) and give birth in my bathtub. In actuality, my BP's lousy and I do need medical supervision. I will probably be OB-attended, in a hospital, but I do intend to go natural unless there's an emergency.
Anything else you'd like to share: I am one of the few women in her 30s who not only who never once has been pregnant, I've also never ever THOUGHT I was pregnant. When I tested, I didn't think I was pregnant. This is all very new and uncharted for me, so forgive my paranoia.

Thanks, it's nice to see many familiar names here!

Hi everyone. I am a first time mom, just discovered we're pregnant with twins, due July 15 (I think), after trying for 18 months! We are over the moon excited and a bit overwhelmed, to say the least.

My name is Kiki, I'm 31 and live in Boston with my husband.

I would love to go the natural route with a midwife but I'm not sure it's an option for me. I have POTS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postura...ardia_syndrome
which can lead to some complications, and with the addition of twins I'm been advised to see a high-risk OBGYN. Besides that, I don't know much else. We've been waiting for this for so long, now that it's here, I find there's so much I need to learn.
Looking forward to meeting some of you.

you can take my name off the list. I'm losing our baby now.
I just found out I'm pregnant with baby #2

EDD: July 26, 2010
Name: crazybean
Age: 28
Location: Florida
Family (partner, other children, etc): I have a 31 month old boy
Gender preferences/inklings: I have NO idea.. I already have a boy and I LOVE having boys.. but.. I'd also like to do the whole hair/dresses thing...
Names you like: No clue yet. If a girl- perhaps Miranda
Birth Plans/Preferences: not sure yet
Anything else you'd like to share: I'm scared out of my mind- again! With my last one, I had preterm labor at 31 weeks then didn't deliver until 41 weeks.. go figure.. and I had gestational diabetes with my last one so it is super important for me to start my carb/sugar controlled diet now.. not that I ate horribly before, I just love my bread and pasta.
