Well, I am grown up now I suppose. But I don't really have a career. I feel like I've fallen into most of the opportunities in life instead of actually trying to achieve something. So I'm looking to work towards a specific career. One that I have chosen. I'd love your thoughts on what I should do. Currently I have a BA in Behavioural Science
My options:
1. Get my Master's in Education. Currently I'm a Native English Teacher at a kindergarten in Hong Kong. I see myself here for the next two school years. I could look at getting my MEd here in HK. I was thinking I'd actually start this next year but I'm also pregnant with my first and I'd be working full time. I am unsure how I would work this.
2. Go to Art School for photography. I really enjoy photography and I am a creative person. I sometimes see myself as a photographer and then I get exhausted by having to be such a self-starter and peeder out. I've been doing a bit of photography on the side here in HK and made it into some magazines here.
3. Become a midwife. I'm very interested in midwifery. This interest has been building over time. One concern is where I would get trained. The opportunities in Canada are limited. I'd need to look at going to school probably in New Zealand.
4. Do a Master's/PHD in Psychology. I wonder if I should pursue this more. I'm interested in art therapy and clinical psychology. My professor in university strongly suggested I pursue this.
What do you think?
