It's been a really hard week - my whole world just kind of caved in on me, and then yesterday my grandmother - who was really a second mom to me - passed away. So I guess I just want a pat on the back for doing something right

Here is the baby's diaper stash. I am SO PROUD of all the hard work that went into this, along with some gifts from dear friends.

I still have 19 OS pocket fitteds to sew up, but they are all cut out, I just have to sit down and do them

Medium & OS Diapers

Oh, Dawn! That is seriously impressive!!! Great work mama!

I am so sorry about your grandma passing away. Mine died when I was pg with Rachel and it was extra hard because I knew she wouldn't meet her in the physical sense. But, you do have an extra person watching over you now!

Hugs mama. If I didn't sew I would be in the same boat. These diapers were almost 100% free except for my time, almost all of them were recycled/gifted fabric.

Wow not even in your due date club, not even due with a baby! I just had mine in april and she's almost 6 mos old, but WOW your stash is amazing you are one talented Mama!

I also want to say sorry for your loss, but remember that's one more Fairy with wings watching over you!

PS any interest in making a pair of longies for some money for a big fat chubby 6 mos old little girl!! I am in love with those brown and green ones! Breastmilk is yummy for the tummy and makes mine nice and fat!!!

What an awesome stash! I am so jealous over all of the wool, I need to learn to knit so badly!
I thought my stash was good this time but it is just a thrown together mess compared to your beautiful one!

I am so sorry about your Grandma. I know how it feels to lose someone close before your children can meet them. My Dad passed when I was 20 and I had no children yet, and my Grandpa passed in the beginning of this pregnancy. Take care of yourself, and remember that your child is a little part of them.

Seriously fantastic stash (and a lot of hard work). So, you just do cloth fitted/pocket and then cover with wool?

Kali - I'm sewing up a diaper storm this week, give me your address and I'll send you an All-In-One. It's just one diaper, but hey, it's a diaper. They're PUL and sherpa or bamboo though, so if you're not into PUL they may not work for you. Let me know.

LOVE the diapers mama!

My Grandfather was more my father than anything my father was out of my life when I was 9 so my grandfather took on that role very happily, He will not meet this baby in a physical sense also and that brakes my heart into pieces and has had me crying but I know that he is watching both my babies and me! I keep him alive by not allowing his memories to die Ds knows all about him and what he was like and he passed when Ds was almost 2 I know that that was a ramble but I wanted you to know I have some idea on how you feel because I felt like I lost more than one person because he was my father and my grandfather and no one but my sister knew how deep that cuts you a for your grandma

I am so sorry about your grandmother. I lost mine recently too and she was like a second mother to me... I feel your pain.

Your stash is awesome! I am so jealous. I am going to be on diaperswappers for the rest of the day looking for some dipes... I need a fix. Good job! I wish I had a cloth-diaper minded family. If they don't see it at BRU, they don't buy it. Nobody in the family shops online.

Yep, we are about 98% fitteds with wool (we have a few pul pockets floating around, but they aren't used much)

When DS was born we started with AIOs... at some point went to pockets, then to pocket fitteds & wool - by far my favorite.
