does anyone else boild spices in water to make your home smell wonderful?

my fav is vanilla and cinnamon, it makes my home smell like I was baking all day.

anyones else care to share thier good smell'n ideas

cinnamon and orange or grapefruit simmered in water. Yum!

I simmer the cinnamon and it smells so good! Makes me wonder why people buy those room fresheners... there's no comparison, imo!

I take it a step further and keep apple cider, cinnamon, cloves, other spices, and orange and lemon slices steaming together lightly on the stove. I add a cup or two of water if it simmers down too much in the afternoon. It smells great AND you can drink it.

I LOVE cinnamon sticks and cloves, especially around the holidays. It makes the whole house smell like Christmas.

I like to ask DH to make apple pie! Makes the house smell delicious.

I do cinnamon and water/vinegar. Will have to try adding vanilla, mmm

Mostly cinnamon, sometimes I'll add cloves. I'll have to try adding vanilla.

ohh the Vanilla and cinnamon makes the whole house smell like warm apple pie Almode(sp?).. humm
