Flu shots

I'm talking the regular flu shot... All I keep hearing about is people getting the flu, that it's mostly the regular flu and not H1N1 but people think it's the H1N1. I keep hearing how so many kids from school are being kept home- that they are sick, 300 at this school 200 at this. I'm a stay at home mom to a almost three yearold. We have never gotten the flu shot....but I'm really thinking about it. I'm scared of her getting the flu, and becoming sick. In my head I just tell myself, it's just throwing up and not feeling good for a week. But I don't know..... I keep hearing from friends how they just got their kids flu shot. I just worry about the choice I'm making to not get it. I feel like I'm the only one I know that hasn't given their child it. I would say well I'm a SAHM so maybe her exposure is less...but honestly we're out everyday. The park, store, and so on. She's probably just as likely as a kid in a daycare to get sick.....

I think one of my big fears is that I have a LD(learning disability) nothing specific, I just had a very hard time in school. I worry about her having the same problems, and what if that Flu Vaccines causes that to come out in her...
