Roll Call: Who's still waiting?

Thread Starter
How many of us are still waiting for our LOs arrival? Anything happening or still no signs?

I'm still here at 38w5d and have had little to no signs whatsoever. I do not know if I'm dilating at all due to the nurse not being able to reach. I am at peace with that though so all is well.

Still here. 40w4d. Lots of things happening - something new every day in fact - but none of what i consider the big three (plug/bloody show, water breaking, strong rhythmic regular contractions). :::SIGH:::

Me 41w4d. Contracting alot tonight, lots of watery discharge (CM or a slow leak?) and i'm really b^%@hy . We'll see. I think today would be a GOOD day to have a baby . I was 41w4 d with DS too, so if I hold out til friday then I'll be further along then I ever have. Here there be dragons!

40 weeks +2 here. Evil doctor talking induction. Lost mucus plug tonight after long walk ... some semi-painful contrax here and there. All in my back of course. Not convinced this is "it" yet. Will know by morning I guess. Have taken EPO, RRL tea, and small dose of castor oil, jic, maybe that is helping ... maybe it will wear off. Never thought I would be happy to feel this pain again! Come on, baby!

I'm here!
Due on the 29th -- so I'll be at 39 weeks tomorrow.

NO signs. Nothing. No mucous, no sporadic contractions other than maybe 1 or 2 a day, no dropping baby, nothing.

Come on down, Baby! You are the Next Contestant on the Baby is Right!

Also, by my count there should still be 83 of us waiting for babes. (Or who just haven't updated with news of the birth yet!)
So we are not alone!

My EDD is this Friday. I'm still waiting. Been having B-H contrax but no show or loss of mucous plug. Sigh.

Me! I'm 39w1d today. I'm pretty sure I got baby to move from posterior to ROA, so I'm happy about that. But she is still high up, I haven't dropped at all! No mucous, no real contractions patterns. I know my cervix is opening, but I don't feel like labor is coming just yet. My next appointment is Monday, I'm hoping to go before then!

Due tomorrow with no signs of labour...hoping tomorrow is the day though!!! (Well, if not today... ;o))

Count me still in. Due 10/25 but my last db was born a healthy 7 lbs at 3 weeks early. I had myself convinced this miracle would happen again. It was bliss--no anxiety about waiting, easy easy recover (walked home 6 hours after delivery) and the labor was so fast I was well-rested.

This is my new babe's way of saying--"hey, mama, I'm my own guy.....and I'll be doing things my way". As well he should!

My mom, who is in place to care for the bigger kids when I go in, has been here for almost a week but has to leave tomorrow and can only come back Tuesday. WE have friends who have offered to help but my mom knows everything and I can really relax when they are in her hands. So another longggg walk today, and a burrito or something spicy, and another silly romp with DH and some rasberry tea. Maybe a swan dive off the high diving board at the pool...

I'm sorely tempted to call my OB and ask her to strip the membranes. But that could lead down a trail I don't want to travel.

Thinking of you today...let's hope a few of us deliver in the next 24. I can't wait to hold my baby!

Oh me. Passed my first due date last Saturday the 17(due date base on LMP and ultrasound) but my ovulation/conception due date is tomorrow. I have gone 8 days over with all the rest so I am betting on Sunday. We will see.

I'm 38 and 2 days. There are five days until my induction date. I was so hoping something would happen before then but I'm not so sure they will. Contractions a lot, in fact standing has become a chore because I don't have full range of motion when my belly is rock hard.. And tiredness. UGH. I've been crashing nearly an hour after waking up in the morning.

So, I'm still here. Lots of mucus. Lost my plug already. 3 cm's and 75 % effaced on Tuesday.

40 and 2 days here and feeling no big signs of labor starting, but hoping it won't be too much longer. I'm recovering from the flu so another day or two wouldn't be too bad, but we have family coming in this weekend and it's becoming more and more likely I'll be in labor while they are here--or even worse--NOT and just more pregnant.

I'm still here. I was due on the 17th. I asked my midwife to check me yesterday and there is nothing to report, thick cervix and no dilation.

I'm still here, but based on US I am only 38 weeks today, which technically puts me in Nov. DDC. I hang out here though. I'm hoping this one comes in Oct!

I am! 40 wks with my 4child. Absolutely nothing going on. I am 4 cm dialated but have been since 37 wks. I am very comfortable with where I am at. She will come when she is good and ready!

41 weeks today, I was due on the 15th. My OB won't let me go past 42 weeks so baby you have 1 more week until induction. I have tried induction massage, accupuncture induction, walking 2 miles a day, black and blue cohosh, RRL but no regular contractions.... and only 1 cm dilated. On the other hand it is probably a good thing that baby stays and develops a bit longer considering the nasty flu that is making its rounds

40w1d here! I went 40w6d with my DS#1 so I am hanging on...not much happening but nothing happened with my first until labor started so I am holding onto hope that I have a repeat show with the start of labor...but not the labor itself as it was 44 hours long!!!! If labor hasn't started by next Wed...I will be taking herbs and encouraging it with at home induction methods!!!
