Eyesight worse now?

So my eyesight was much worse than it normally is during the time I was pregnant. I read everywhere it was normal and hormonally related, and that my eyesight would return to "normal" after birth. Well it did for a little while, but now all of a sudden it's MUCH worse than it ever was. I know I should run (not walk) to the eye doctor for an eye exam and when my Mom comes to help me this week I will most likely have her watch him while I get an exam. But is this related to my pregnancy/hormones? Has this happened to any of you?

**I am normally near-sighted with poor night vision. I always wear my glasses/contacts to drive and when i go out, but I used to be able to get away with not wearing them around the house. Lately my eyesight is so bad I can't function well without putting them on/in. Even with my glasses or contacts my eyesight is off.

Yes!! My eyesight was never good but it got way worse at the end of pregnancy and it's still terrible. In my case I think it's the astigmatism that got worse. Honestly, I'm not banking on it getting much better unfortunately.

Mine has been weird since the birth, too! Blurry, like I can't focus as well as I want to. I don't like it!

Ladies it could just be dry eye as it is very common during an after pregnancy. I am farsighted (old) lol and my vision actual gets better when I am pregnant (all those youful pregnancy hormones. I already suffer from dry eye non breastfeeding it just gets worse. I have see one tear jerking event dailey to the moist otherwise I constantly have to use eye drops. I highly suggest seeing an eye dr as well as your eyes can do a 180 after birth (vision wise not literally).
