Makeup help!

Help!!! LOL My skin has changed since my last baby was born...the makeup I have been wearing is doing NOTHING for me. It's not even and just isn't 'meshing' well with me. I have been using minerals and it's just not working.

So here's what I'm asking...what do you ladies use for makeup? I need help mainly with concealer, foundation and mascara(they stopped making the one I've used to years and years ). I also got advise from a friend to use Olay Regenerist(sp??) that it helped with leveling out and smoothing.

THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!!!

I'm not sure what you mean by not "meshing" well... Do you have bumpy scars? Is your skin rough? You might just need to exfoliate for your MMU to apply better. What I do is take a piece of Scotch tape (brand-name works better), stick, and gently peel off. I use the same piece 2-3 times on different areas until it's no longer sticky. I do this about once a week, but you can start doing it every 3-4 days, but no more than that.

Or you can try applying MMU wet.

No, it's not my skin...I clean it daily and it's smooth. I mean the makeup I'm using now doesnt last or settle well on my skin. I'm getting older and my body is changing, hormones and such and the makeup doesnt look good on my skin anymore. I need something that covers more smoothly and stays on longer than 2 hours. And something that evens out the tone of my skin...it's dark under my eyes, then white and then my cheeks are naturally pink.

What brand MMU are you using? Some have higher contents of mica which is more transparent and doesn't have lasting power. Have you tried applying several thin layers? Have you tried using a primer?

You probably need a full-coverage formula. I have one place in mind, but I can't remember the name! She has a cat theme for her MMU biz, and she has so many formulas and colors.

But KT Naturals gives me med-full coverage in 2-3 layers, and I have oily skin, and it stays all day.

You can use your foundation as concealer tpp. You can use your finger to apply more foundation in the area that you want to conceal. Or if I need more coverage than that, before I apply foundation, I wet my concealer brush a little to apply foundation or concealer and let it dry for a few minutes, then apply foundation.

Sorry - can't help w/ mascara as I don't use one.

the most awesome makeup ever. It only has 4 ingredients and you can pick your coverage level. I tried bare minerals but my poor skin is way to sensitive to all the stuff in it!

Does Bare Minerals have yucky stuff in it? I thought it was all natural! I LOVE Bare Minerals, it's the only thing I've found that works well to cover my acne scars.

Everyday minerals is SO cheap and I wish I liked it, but the colors are never right on my face and I feel like it doesn't last long.
