is this thrush?

Hi Mamas

I'm not sure if this is thrush or not: my nipples have a mild burning feeling, but only when my 7 month old daughter nurses and no deep-breast burning feeling/pain. I don't see anything unusual, although my nipples are pink (which they used to be until they turned brown during pregnancy, but they seem pinker). My daughter doesn't seem to have anything in her mouth that I can see (she has a white film on her tongue sometimes, but I think its milk).

Can thrush be mild? Could it just be more aggressive nursing from teething (she bit a few times a few weeks ago, but nothing since). I read some of the thrush support thread but (thankfully) I don't have the severity that many of the mamas there are having.

Any feedback is helpful.

It seems like a teething issue. . . . Has her latch changed? Even a little shift can sometimes cause a little irritation to tissue unused to a certain kind of latch. Also, maybe she is clamping down a little to relieve teething pain (to get a little counter-pressure). Does she have any new little teeth that might be rubbing into you? Hope it's getting better!
