I have a logistical question that has me perplexed. I’m tandem nursing my infant daughter and my toddler son. My 11-week-old is EBF, and my 26-month-old nurses about 3-4 times (morning, naptime, bedtime and usually one “special treat”) a day.
In three weeks, I have a wedding to attend. It’ll be the first time leaving my daughter, so I need to pump to build a milk supply to leave for her. With all the nursing action I have going on here, I just can’t figure out how to pump too. When I only had one nursling, I would pump on one side while he nursed on the other. But now, when they aren’t nursing at the same time, I just don’t have the “extra” milk to spare.
Has anyone dealt with this before? What did you do?
Thanks is advance!
