I want to make a lightweight/breathable wig for my punkin to wear for Halloween. Was originally going to use curling ribbon for the "hair", but if I can find the multicolored curly ribbon-bows for giftwrap at a dollar store, I may do that instead.
As far as a base for the wig, I have a coif that I made for her for Pennsic this year that I was thinking of tacking the curly bows to, but I was also thinking of converting some old tights into a wig base. Just cut the legs off, seam, and use the butt as a hat LOL

Which do you think would be most comfortable for her? She actually LIKES putting stuff on her head, but I'm afraid if it's too hot or too heavy, it won't be worn.
