UPDATE: Plan of action in place

We were able to reach a plan with a LOT of research and help from our vets. Another poster mentioned prostaglandin therapy which is the way we are going. It would not allow her to have puppies and seems the safest route for our dog at this point. After weighing all the options including spaying, the prostaglandin therapy is the one we are most comfortable with. I simply can not *try* to have her spayed again, she is a member of our family for the last 3 yrs. We joke that she is DH's *therapy*, we got her shortly after both of DH's parents died. So emotionally it would be very difficult to chance a spaying.
