I need a parent whos child is (or was) in KinderCare

Hello, I need an urgent help for my friend. She is currently in UK and got a job offer from a company in Washington DC. She wants to take her child to DC while leaving her ex-hisband in UK. There is a huge custody buttle going on. Long story short: she needs to show the court that she arranged a proper care for a child during transition period for her move from UK to US. She enrolled him (over the phone) in KinderCare in DC area but her ex-hisband found a bad review of this chain (some other location) on the internet. Now she needs to show the judge some letters of recommendation from people whos kids attended ANY center anywhere in US in recent years and who were happy.

If you are willing to help me (my friend) and give such letter of recommendation, please contact me privatly. In this letter you will need to state your real name, so I understand that not every person will be willing to do so.

This thread is not a debate on how good KinderCare is, it does not matter. She just need to have a court's permision to get her child out of UK NOW (her job is starting in a week and she desperatly needs to get out of UK but not willing to do so whiout her kid). One in DC she will find the best possible accomodations for her kid, it is hard to do over the ocean.

Can the kinder care facility in DC provide her with some references from parents who send their kids there?

Thanks for suggestion.
Yes, facility can provide it, but today is friday (she found out that her ex found the review today - I bet he did it on purpose knowing that she will not be able to do anything over the weekend) and the court date is on Monday morning, which is because of the time difference Sunday night in US.
People in day care told her that they wanted to contact parents first and then release the names for contact. This is good since they are protecting the privacy. But it is not good in this case for her. So, bottom line, there is no time.

There is a finding your tribe area - you might also check there in case someone knows someone at that facility.

Another idea: Most counties put the licensing and inspection information for each facility on line. I know I can see ever licensing violation and the certifications on file for each facility in my county. Pulling that info might be helpful.

How do I get this info? I tried to enter random county and I can not find anything. Of course we do not want to find violations, but inspection information will be helpful.

Say, for example I found a facility in VA (I am not sure where exactly hers is, but it does ont matter - she can search if she knows what she looks for)/ Her kids was raised in UK mostly, so she has no idea about US rules for child care. Me too since I always had a nanny.:

How do I get the info about inspection? Thanks a ton!

For VA, I used this website to locate the daycare you listed: http://www.dss.virginia.gov/facility...h/licensed.cgi

And it brought up a page like this where you can see inspections and violations: http://www.dss.virginia.gov/facility...nt_code-2101=1

If the daycare ends up being in a different state (like MD or something, since her job is in DC), just google something like "XXX county day care liscensing" It may not be the first link, but that's how I found the page for VA.

Good luck to your friend.
