Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the complete series of Parmigiano Reggiano ads from Italian TV. My whole family studies Italian, DD loves working on it, and my mom showed these ads to her last Christmas or so... she wanted to watch them all the time. SOOOO.... cheesy.

The worst commercial I've seen lately was for a security alarm company. Mom and daughter are playing in the backyard and walk into the house through the back door. Bad guy breaks in the front door. OMG those commercials are so ridiculous. Dh and I were actually laughing about them yesterday, about how they try to be so terrifying. I mean, you never see a commercial with a couple of jocks watching the game and the bad guy breaks in thru the door and the dudes run in terror to the phone and call the security company. LOL the thought of that commercial had us laughing for quite some time.

They might be cheesy, but I must say that I was slightly entertained. I can see how after seeing them several times I would ready for their run to be up though!

I'm with ya'll on the AXE commercials- the new one that is for their scent changing body spray shows a guy changing clothing and hair styles throughout his date, and the tag line is "Because women get bored easily".

If that isn't the most insulting thing Ive ever seen, I'm not sure what is....

Not only does the inside look gross (and the thought makes my pregnant self GAG) but when they pull them apart I'm reminded of, uh, male anatomy and it's disturbing.

"Ask Gary" Can't stand these commercials. They occasionally switch out the actors, but the $5 budget, terrible grammar and pronunciation, and general awfulness never change.

OK, I was laying on my couch last night, when an image on the TV (That was on but I was not watching it) came on and out of the corner of my eye it caught my attention. So i stopped reading my very good book and looked over. A very small child, prolly about 2 ish, was standing alone in what looked like maybe an airport, and their were people walking all around him. (Im starting to shake just typing this) He looked a bit confused at first, but that suddenly turned to fright and he began to cry. Then a narratory came on, saying something to the effect of, If this is how your child feels when he cant find you for a minute, imagine what he'll feel like if he never see you again." It was a "quit smoking "commercial.

Now, I get the message, I GET IT. But DAMN IT if that image didnt distrub the HELL outta me! I had a hard time going to sleep. And dont even get me started on the true horror the poor little boy was ACTUALLY feeling at the time of shooting that commercial. Two year olds cant act people. SOmeone has to MAKE them cry like that and then capture it on tape. SO was he REALLY fearing loosing his mommy or daddy in that moment? Makes me want to :Puke

So anyway, after all that I immediatly thought of this thread and that I should post about it, just incase anyone else sees it, they can kinda be prepared for it. Its a commercial done by the New York State quit smoking campaign, and it was on the Yankees entertainment station channel. So I doubt anyone will see it unless they live in NY state.

Not sure if this is a national commercial but it is for supposedly eco cleaning products. The theme for the commercial is that it's time for a change for the better and it shows natural healthy looking people packing up their old toxic cleansers and carting them off in their trucks or whatever.

This pisses me off so bad because first of all if you really want to be eco you don't even need to buy cleaning products, right? You can use vinegar/bs/whatever.

Secondly, what the hell are they going to do with the toxic box of cr@p they just packed up to get rid of? I mean, you're going to do the planet more of a favor by using the stuff then just dumping it in the landfill. Come on now.

Vagisil Wash

In the commercial the woman says she learned that hard way that not all washes take care of feminine odor while she's backing away from a couple of women.

Is she smelling herself that clearly? Did the women tell her that her vagina stinks? Seriously. It makes no sense and wierds me out that people buy a separate wash for their girly bits.
