Heart babies?

I don't even know what to ask... my heart is breaking for my new nephew. He was born day before yesterday, full term baby weighing just over 8 pounds. Everything looked good.

Last night in the middle of the night he was airlifted from the hospital he was born at to a big children's hospital because there is something up with his little heart, and he isn't breathing properly.

I don't even know yet what the problem is, but I need to hear that these things can end well.

Please, please share your stories of babies with heart problems who pulled through.

There is a heart thread in the Special Needs forum. Mamas whose kiddoes have had various heart problems post there. Feel free to pop over to the SN board. Not all of the heart mamas on this board visit the NICU forum.
