Foreskin restoration....

Have you ever heard of restoring a child foreskin? I was watching the video posted about the 90s talk show and the guy that restored his foreskin did it with tape. Seems less "traumatic" then using the weights when doing it on a child. Anyone know about this?

I do not know about this, but wanted to make a few comments.

First, weights are not the only, nor most common way to restore. Tape is a widely used method, and has many variations. Tape can be used with weights, inserts, straps, or even alone (cross taping) to put the tension on the skin. Manual, O-rings, and a number of devices are also used.

There should be no "trauma" when restoring. One is simply putting tension on the skin. The tension induces more rapid cell division than normal, resulting in more cells. More cells = more skin.

As far as children restoring, there are several issues that need to be considered, and some of these are highly dependent on the age of the child. Making the choice to restore the foreskin of a child requires some careful thought in my mind.

Thanks for the input! I know there shouldn't be any trauma in restoring but for a 5 year old there might be. I'm not talking about pain, I'm talking emotionally.
