Because if you do then she will immediately poop in her underwear. While you are posting on facebook. Because you're not paying attention.

Just had to share with mamas who would understand!

Same goes for blogging about it. Karma seems to set us back every time.

haha. That's funny. Everyone made fun of me for ECing our DD, but they were amazed and asking to borrow book/for info/etc when, at 16 months, she was completely 100% in underwear and never had accidents (like a few times a month maybe). Quite the reversal! I just posted a picture on facebook of me holding my DS (3 months) over the toilet and made some status update about how he has gone in the toilet 4 times by 9am.... oh people are a mixture of thinking it is cool and thinking I am completely insane. HAHAHA.

OMG that made me laugh! reminds me of the time that i was soooo absorbed reading Ingrid Bauer's book that i totally missed my wee baby's squirms and wiggles in my lap and she peed all over me

It is so funny how karma gets me every time. What's really funny is it works in reverse too...every time I've posted a question or a problem with EC here on MDC, I immediately magically figured out what DD needed and the problem went away. But let me just dare to say that EC is going well...! I've been wanting for a couple of months now to post a graduate thread, because she's been pretty much a phase one grad for, I dunno, six months probably, but I KNOW if I post that thread I'll be punished by a day of wet pants! And I probably just jinxed myself already!

Guess I better use trainers tomorrow just in case...

I just changed the wording of something I posted here, because with my original wording we were SURE to have poopy pants tomorrow!!

When Hannah was about 4 months old I was laying down next to her, and I was looking at my laptop over her shoulder, reading about EC, and I suddenly became aware of squirming and loud vocalizations, and a wet blanket.

OMG totally. This is the main reason why I really barely said anything about my son for so long! I had enough misses as it was, I was not about to jinx myself when he started doing better.
