I am still overwhelmed with the speedy delivery. I never would have thought, that it would only take a couple of hours. It was so beautiful. Yes, there was pain, but it wasn't a bad pain, it was just something that was there and everything just went it's path.

Our little one was 7lbs 2oz, 20in long. Not at all to big Just right, but still full of lanugo, and vernix.

Because of some latching problems the first day (they didn't have lactation counselor at the hospital on Sunday) we are fighting newborn jaundice, and I hope we don't have to go back for light therapy.

The good thing about it is, I got an electric breast pump prescribed and my insurance covers it! Just to help me feed him and get things going.

I had great support from all of you here, from my doula and my dh. I will try to right my birth story in the next couple days

I'm so glad that your baby decided to come before his real DD instead of being induced for 'post dates' because your docs didn't believe when you really conceived! 7 lbs 2 oz is totally an earlier babe as opposed to an overdue baby.
