First timer, homebirth.
Long birth story to follow, eventually. Water broke 10/11 at 3pm. Grady arrived about 46 1/2 long hours later. Many thanks to a wonderful birth team (2 midwives, 1 doula, my mom, sister, and DH). The biggest trial was an anterior cervical lip. MW said there was no way this would have been a vaginal birth in a hospital. (GBS pos, 3 hours of pushing.) Pushed in 7 different positions. Got in the pool far to early. No tearing, just a skid-mark.
But we did it. And he is amazing!!
