Boooored

I turned down the option to go to tonights hockey game with DH and boy am I paying for it now. I am bored out of my mind. There's nothing on TV, I've refreshed all the websites I regularly look at a million times, I've cruised other DDCs on here and I'm just ugh.

This is usually the point where I say eff it and hop in the shower to kill 15 minutes. But then I have to deal with wet hair and wanting to go to bed but not wanting to blow dry it (I have super thick hair and this takes forever).

I'm jealous of all the October moms who are currently occupied with their babies. It's been so quiet in here lately. I am ready to have my LO arrive just so I'm not bored anymore. Hah.. That'll come back to bite me I'm sure.

Anyone else spending their Saturday night twiddling their thumbs?

Me! I've done everything I could possibly think of to keep myself occupied. There really is nothing on t.v., and I made the mistake of reading the November board and I became insanely jealous that some of the ladies over there already have babies!

I want to meet my daughter! Smell her hair, nurse her, wrap myself around her at bed time. I keep telling myself it will happen soon enough, but it sure doesn't feel like it!

Bored.
And stuck on the couch, so I can't even go putter around and clean or do laundry or sort baby clothes or whatever.
I want him to come now!

Steph, I made that same mistake! I keep seeing people due either the same time (10/31) or after me having their babies and I want to cry.

Spiral, hang in there! I would probably resort to mastering every videogame my husband owned. lol. I hope you have someone who is able to come help you do the things that are needing done.

Me too! My "due date" was yesterday and I am just sitting around trying not to get excited by every little contraction. Come on, baby!!!

Add me to the bored list! I took my maternity leave last week. My house is spotless. I've been occupying my time with the very addicting FarmVille game on Facebook. My due date is tomorrow and I really want a baby to hold. I'm super jealous of all the October moms who has little ones to dote over.

Yes, luckily my parents and his parents are both nearby and have been helping a LOT. Alas, DP's not a videogame guy... I've been living on facebook and futzing around surfing the web. But even the World Wide Web gets boring after a while!
Come on baby, I'm bored! I need you to entertain me! lol!

I give you a lot of credit, because I'd be tearing my hair out right now if I had to be on bedrest and wait for my baby! At least I can occupy myself with things like scrubbing every inch of the floor or steam cleaning the upholstery and carpets 3x a week

I am depressed. Everyday past the due date is such torture. I haven't dropped, lost a plug, or anything.

I have been sick too. And stressed about another life issue that won't be resolved till after baby is born. I think the stress is keeping baby in, some flight or fight instinct that keeps baby safe from being born during a stressful time.
I also think the stress is keeping me sick! I need to try to meditate or something to clear my mind.

I also have the OB holding another C/S over my head if 42 weeks comes and no baby.

Sorry to be such a Debbie Downer.

But yes, it feels like everyone else has had their babies!!

I am not liking this anymore either. Dh has been off of work unpaid for two weeks now already. Now it looks like he won't be able to go back until after Thanksgiving because they have a shut down on the job that will come before he would be able to get back there. Sure would be nice if all this time was able to spent with the baby and not just staring at each other. The kids are getting frustrated.

I'm not on bed rest, but I can't physically do much of anything. It hurts too much. so I end up sitting here bored.
