nursing reference on "monk"

i was watching the episode of monk today that was recorded on friday.... his old assistant came into town, and stoped to visit him... they were talking about how theyd been and what theyd been doing and all that. she said she was nursing again, and he looked at her and said "isnt benji like 17?" and she looked at him and said that she meant she was working as a nurse again

I was surprised Monk didn't think the concept of nursing itself was repulsive, considering all his other phobias...

LOL! There was an episode once where c-sections came up, and he said he wasn't born cesarean, but he was raised cesarean. I thought that was interesting because all of the "Monk's childhood" episodes show his mother as a total germaphobe too so the image of her giving birth vaginally always made me happy.

Of course C-sections weren't so common in 1959 anyway.

DP and I watched that episode together. As soon as she said she was nursing again, I thought "he's going to comment that benji is too old" DP and both laughed when he made the comment. It was great.
