Would someone be willing to share a kefir grain with me?

I've been buying probiotic supplements at the grocery store because my older daughter (4.5 yrs) is prone to yeast infections. I had thrush for a while when I was breastfeeding her (and then got treated once I figured out what was going on), and I don't know if that was the cause or not, but she has continued to struggle with yeast off and on.

I remembered kefir, which I think is probably better than supplements because it's so fresh. I think I have the time and energy now to make kefir smoothies. Would anyone be willing to mail me a kefir grain so I can get started? I'll gladly cover shipping.

ETA: I just found that I can buy some from the kefir lady, so I'm going to do that.

I'd love some too if anyone has some more to share.

I would share with you but I am in Canada. It will take too long and cost a lot to ship fresh grains all the way to the US. If you can find someone in the local area you can just pick them up. You may want to give your location so for those who have grains to share can respond to your request accordingly.

I totally just got rid of all my extra grains. I have no idea what to do with them all that I stored them in the frige hoping to give them to someone but I've since given some to my dogs (they LOVE the stuff). I hope you're able to find some!
