Please tell me a good website for nanny search

Somebody suggested a good website to find a nanny on my other thread but I did not write it down rightaway and now I do not see the posting anymore.

I do not want to use sittercity because that's where I found the old nanny and she might be on it and then I know care.com - some people were not too crazed about it.

Any other suggestions?

I've found a few jobs (sitting) and my current nanny position on Care.com...this is the best nanny job I have had in 5 years of doing it! So I love Care.com.

There is also: nannies4hire.com, enannysource.com, and 4nanny.com. I would also try Craigslist...it is no different then any of the sites either you or I mentioned, in that it is free to post and the service doesn't do a background check. Just do the normal references and personal background check on anyone you find on Craigslist just like you would for anyone you found on sittercity.com.

We used care.com and are very happy with our nanny. Also spoke to several other candidates through the site who seemed well-qualified. HTH.
