Paypal fees

I'm looking into working online and most of the companies seem to use paypal to pay their people.

I don't really want to have to pay fees on the money I receive through paypal and be responsible for paying taxes on my earnings. That just seems like I'm losing out twice, yk?

I totally get that I need to pay taxes on my earnings but is there some way to avoid the paypal fees?

Nope, pretty much all online credit card processors charge a fee. You can get a paypal debit card and earn cash back on your purchases made with it though, and its instant cash back. It doesn't totally cover the fees, but it helps. Unless you are making a lot of money, Paypal has the most reasonable rate scale I've found for smaller businesses. Oh! My PayPal fees have always been a business expense (bank fees) that is a deduction at tax time, you can do a printout at PayPal at the end of the year that will add everything up, including the fees you've paid to make it easier on your accountant. You could check our the Google one too.
