WWYD? "no public breastfeeding" in church bulletin - Page 5

I would write a letter to the Pastor and the church board:

Dear ___,

I am quite disturbed by your notice in the bulliten requesting mothers to breastfeed only in the cry room. I can certainly, understand removing a fussy baby to the cry room, but not one that is quitely nursing. This sounds more like an attempt to ensure all mothers feel sufficiently chastised for breastfeeding that they switch to bottle feeding?

I find it quite enlightening that you would spit in God's face this way with regards to his creations and design. Since I believe that what God designed is far superior to what man has designed (bottles and formula), I will have to re-evaluate everything that has been taught from your pulpit. Jesus would have never even considered asking a mother to remove herself from his sight because she was feeding her baby.

If the issue is that the men in this congregation see breastfeeding as a sexual invitation, I will make sure the proper authorities are notified of this threat to all women of childbearing years immediately.

Sincerely,

_____
