Most absorbant training pants?

Currently we use CPF's and covers but I'm thinking about starting to potty train soon. I really don't want to use disposable pull-ups for potty training but I don't know that much about cloth training pants. So, I thought I'd come to MDC to find out which are the best and most absorbant training pants out there.

I don't have any training pants, so I can't comment on those, but you can potty train without them.

Happy Heinys makes pocket trainers so you can adjust the absorbancy with the inserts. However the microfleece might make it harder for your lo to sense when they are wet. We had good luck (although we EC) with just putting a pull-up cover such as SimplyCovers from the EC store over underwear/trainers when we wanted a little extra protection.

We didn't use training pants, either, just underwear. I figured he had to learn, so I just cleaned up messes for a while.
We did buy one small pack of pull ups, and that has lasted for 3 months including two long car trips/vacations. DS still wears a BG at night, and is dry about 3 out of 4 mornings. He doesn't fight about it, so I think it will be a while before we quit that.
