green poop after a week of block feeding, still??

i've been block feeding for about a week now to balance my oversupply, but the little guy still has green stools (no mucous, i think..) he wasn't as gassy today, so i don't know if it's a foremilk imbalance anymore or what.. maybe his gut is just trying to adjust, still? he's definitely emptying my breasts at the end of each block. i'm thinking about trying to limit my dairy, to see what happens, i don't know!

any advice/experience/insight would be great. i go to see my LC tomorrow, so this isn't an emergency, just seeing if any of you ladies were in, or have been in similar positions. TIA!

I think cutting dairy and soy is a good first step. I will also let you in on a little secret - sometimes poop is green. Unless there are complicating factors I wouldn't worry too much.

cool. that's pretty much what my LC said today- that unless he's unusually fussy (and he's the most content baby i've ever known) i shouldn't worry.

she said that if we all changed diapers with sunglasses on, we would have a lot less stressed mothers. ha!
