Safe spot for baby to sleep at babysitter's

My 5 1/2 month old sleeps on his babysitter's bed with pillows on the sides around him because he sleeps best this way (we co-sleep at home w/the mattress on the floor) I'm looking for some suggestions for safe bed sleeping at the babysitter's house. I was thinking of maybe a crib mattress on the floor. Would you use one that's 30 years old & has been used for 4 of us kids or would you buy a new one? Any suggestions?

we just have a big quilt folded up on the floor for DD, and have used that for the past 8 months since DD started crawling off the bed at night. We just use it for the time between putting her to bed and when we come to bed.

It is free and doesn't need to be stored anywhere.
