Button Crafts

I was given some free butons and was looking for fun ways to use them. I have made some headbands with store bought hard cloth headbands, and then superglued some buttons to them. I thougt I could do the same with some hair clips and layer the buttons to the top. Anyone have any other fun button craft ideas for me?

I love buttons! We made some bookmarks last Christmas by gluing buttons on the ends of lenghts of pretty silk ribbon. Buttons make the very best eyes for sock puppets or anything like that. They are enormously fun for kids to play with, to sort and match and all sorts of games (as long as they're well-supervised, they are a choking hazard!).
