Leaking up the back overnight?

Anybody have a good solution to this? Type of diaper doesn't seem to matter - I've used a few different triple-stuffed pockets as well as sposies. I also tried combo stuffing with cloth inserts as well as a Gdiaper flushable, which contains SAP and which was clearly nowhere near full in the morning.

They're all pretty good around the legs but none of them seem to have leak protection up the back. It's not even a matter of insufficient padding bc the third insert could hold way more than it does, and she's totally dry in the front. I think the pee goes out the back before it even gets soaked up for some reason.

So what dipes exactly have you tried? What kind of covers do ya have that will make helping easier. There are lots of good covers out there or maybe wool would help. Also do your dipes have build up causing them to not absorb to there full ability?

I've tried a BumGenius onesize pocket, a Rocky Mountain onesize pocket, and a SoftBums AI2, in addition to Huggies disposables. I'm pretty sure the problem is not absorbency - that's why I tried the flushable, where buildup wouldn't be an issue.

I don't have any covers - is a diaper cover essential for overnight? Doesn't that just mean that the cover gets wet instead of her PJs? I mean, that would be an improvement for the bedsheets but I'd rather have her not be wet at all, kwim?

Hmm im kinda stumped too. Was the huggie soaked or just the back? I was mentioning covers in case you did pf. ^f you have pf id try folding 1 in thirds then in half the long way & layin that in another twards the back of the dipe w/a cover.

Have you tried adding a wonder wrap onesize cover? That is what we do.
