I'm Sarah, and I'm not a mama yet (won't be TTC for a few years), but am keen to soak up as much knowledge as possible. I've actually lurked here for a couple of years, but have just signed up so thought I should say a proper hello.
I'm 19, a second-year undergraduate Philosophy student, and in a really fantastic relationship with my girlfriend, who has recently come out as MtF transgender. She's 25 and a PhD Physics student. We've been together for three and a half years, and our relationship is really strong. I can't wait to have her babies
Although we're years away from having kids, we already have plans for extended breastfeeding, homebirth, gentle discipline, co-sleeping and home education/unschooling (both of us were home educated for part of our education, and we're really passionate about it). We would love to live self-sufficiently, with a garden full of vegetables and some chickens and a couple of pigs, the whole shebang.
