This is just odd, but if it happens again I'd like to know if there's something I should do different.
I got home from work around 4:30, to time it so I was home right when DS woke up for a nursing session (he's 4 months, easily distracted, nurses way better right when waking)
He wakes screaming and yelling (a bit unusual, but happens occasionally, I think from a bad dream) I calm him down but it takes a while and nurse him, and he falls back asleep at 530.
he's STILL asleep (its almost 8pm)
we usually have a 'bedtime' for him around 7 (sometimes as late as 830, depending on how wired he is, or how late his last nap was)
am I doomed - will he be up at 4am and *awake* for good reason since he got so much sleep? should I wake him now and play w/ him for two hours before I go to bed at 10pm?
he did have his shots yesterday - so he may be processing that a bit and a bit tired? He had his normal 4 hours of naps today (4 1 hr naps although its sometimes with a two hour nap, just not today)
I really can't bring myself to wake him up.
