Dr. Sherri Tenpenny was invited by Dr Oz to be part of a panel discussing "Vaccines for Adults". The show was recorded in the Dr Oz' NYC studios on October 16. It was edited and will be aired on October 28 on his nationally syndicated TV show. Go here for local times and listings.

Should be interesting! Thanks, I enjoyed hearing Dr. Oz talking about vaxing on his radio show.

As I thought she was hardly given any opportunity to speak. I was so disappointed I emailed the Dr Oz show. When I heard about his show I thought he would be neutral re issues and present them fairly but it seems he is more interested in promoting Walgreens than anything. Really disappointing. Why would he not have Dr Tennpenny on stage and show both sides?? He did the same thing w the show on the meat industry and Ecoli. Atleast Oprah tells the truth.

Yeah so much for fair and balanced LOL
I was also thinking it was a little disrespectful to have her sitting in the audience. Total waste of DVR space.

What he never brings up is that his children and wife are not getting the flu vaccine and I doubt the swine flu vaccination either. He stated that in an interview I saw him on. The Walgreens thing is really irritating to say the least.

I was so disappointed. Who the HELL was that lady on stage with him? Some kinda big pharma puppet?

Very disappointing.
I love how tetanus shot is so important for American women to get because thousands of babies die in Africa.......

So he shows how vaccines supposedly give "immunity" but then talked about you have to keep being re vaxed non stop to keep your immunity. True immunity is for life. Dr. Oz might as well just "baaa'd" the whole time he was talking.

Yes, she sure did look like a pharma puppet (too funny).

That show was just as ridiculous as "The Doctors" flu episode. ugh.

I watched it. What a disappointment. At least Dr.Tenpenny was there, but they gave her no time at all to speak. The whole show was vaccination propaganda, and it was just appalling. I turned it off after Dr.Tenpenny had spoken. I couldn't watch it anymore. It would have been nice if she were on stage, and had an equal amount of time to address the other side of the argument. But, what did we expect from the mainstream television lol? Just like Sid the Science Kid I guess!!

His show doesn't air at my house, but I heard him on Jimmy Kimmel last night (dh was watching...I was trying to sleep ) and he was giving Jimmy the H1N1 shot so I knew which way his show would be slanted. He also made a "joke" about creating a vax shortage to create the best demand, and when unsuspecting Jimmy called him on it, Oz changed the subject real fast.

Oh and another thing--the "Pharma Puppet" lady mentioned how each year the flu kills more than 30,000 people.....we all know that the CDC groups flu and pneumonia deaths together. So she was using false information, as these shows usually do. Just to scare people. If it were real science, then fear-mongering would NOT be used.

Yeah, I heard him say that in an interview on CNN. He basically said he'd get the H1N1 vax because he "had to" but that his wife wouldn't get it and she wouldn't let their kids get it, either. Pretty telling, if you ask me.

I hate that Dr. Oz even has a show. He came from the Oprah Machine just like Dr. Phil so we can't expect much. I don't even watch him because have I have yet to hear of anything worth watching. It's all spouting what the medical community wants spouted.

I watched it too and posted some info in the Swine flu thread. I think Tenpenny was edited big time as there was a jump in the tape and when they flashed back to the stage Dr. Ashton (who is a CBS medical correspondent) had a huge smile on her face that she didn't have a moment before. Since Walgreens seems to be an advertiser (on show and on Oz Web site), I'm guessing the producers of the show didn't want to upset the applecart so they sliced Tenpenny's responses. It's a shame but at least Tenpenny was on there. I'd love to hear her take on what happened.
