Outgrowing absorbancy before size?

He's still in NB dipes, the smalls are still too large, but most of the NB dipes and some of the smalls are already not absorbent enough... getting soaked with a single pee. But if I add more absorbency, like in his night-time dipes, his legs are so splayed that when he's laying on his side, one foot is just dangling in mid-air.

What can I do?

Try using a baby wash cloth as a doubler it will add assorbancy with out a ton of bulk.

i used a baby wipe as a doubler for quite a while, then went up to doubling the preemie pfs. also, it wont hurt him to have his legs like that . i know it looks funny though!

I have some bamboo wipes I've been using as doublers. They are a little more absorbant than regular wipes and super soft. : ) newborn or premie pf's work well, too. you could probably use a washcloth if you need more than a wipe will provide.
