anyone else post anti vaccine info on facebook? - Page 4

Lisa (evergreenmom), Therese Reich, and Christi Evans Jensen I hope y'all don't mind that I added you as well. My name is Carey Antoszyk Dassinger so expect a request.

I am always posting anti-vax stuff on FB and have had some really heated debates with other family members who are in the medical field, but I keep on posting. I feel that if just one person starts to question and research vaxing that that is one less person falling into the crap that our government uses to brain wash everyone. I can't believe how many people just follow the herd! I also post a lot of stuff on nutrition, because I know so many people eat fast food all the time. Don't they know how badly they are hurting themselves? They don't even question it until they have a heart attack or get cancer.

Anyone can add me as a friend. I would love to have more people that have similar views there to back me up.

Count me in! Between anti circ stuff and vaccine info...it seems like I never have anything else to say there

I do! This aint the stuff you hear about on the news (for the most part) or read about in the newspaper, so someone has to share with the rest of the world.

If anyone cares to add me....Kelly Monteith

Please remember that we do not permit posting negatively about other online discussions, which includes those posted on FB, so please do not discuss FB friends posts in this manner. Thanks!

I have to walk a very thin line when I post things on FB. My DH has been warned that he should not make our vax status public because it could have negative consequences regarding his employment. So, we homeschool our children, avoid base clinics (he works for the Dept of Defense), avoid any sports teams or clubs that make us fill out health questionnaires, etc. . . However, on FB I do post things about vaxing, circing, gentle parenting, attachment parenting. . .but usually with comments about getting the whole story and not being ignorant. Most of my "friends" on FB are very mainstream and love to rip on me for being anti-vax (often linking me with Jenny McCarthy--like that's the only person nonvaxers get their info from). . .my nephew even had a status one day about those dumba**es who don't vax and how we put everyone at risk. Anyway, I could also use some more like-minded friends

My first priority with any relationship is to give the same respect that I wish to receive.
BUT that doesn't mean that I can't politely share my feelings and viewpoints.

The worst part for me when I post on FB is that 2 close friends work for 2 of the major Pharma companies...it can get kinda weird

I post here and there but a post on a lot of different topics. I do not like to get flooded with One subject ....

I received a tin foil hat comment on one of the H1N1 vaccine clips I posted (which I got from Barbara's page, thanks Barbara ). It was said jokingly, though, and I sent back a response that included serious comments plus a few smiley's to lighten the mood.

I'm fairly lucky in that friends like that (who I've known for years, and went to school with) are mostly tolerant of my beliefs, and while they don't really take them seriously, at least respect my right to have them, and not fight about it. The only real flack I've gotten is from mums at school. One of them is on my Facebook, and while she doesn't comment, I'm hoping she at least looks at some of the information so she can have a better understanding of where I'm coming from.

I have removed several posts from this thread which were discussing FB friend comments in a negative manner. As I posted previously, our UA does not permit posting in this manner. Due to repetative issues in this thread, the discussion is now closed. Please do not start a new thread on the subject.
