Tandem nursing mamas what is your fav sling?

Thread Starter
I have an almost 3 year old and expecting baby no 2. DD is still nursing so I guess I will be tandem nursing them. I have a Hug-a-Bub wrap and an Ergo but I guess keeping boobies accesible for DD will make things easier so I am considering to buy a pouch sling.Am I right? What are/were your experiences?
I am considering a peanutshell or hotsling.any recs?
TIA

I actually don't think you need to get a pouch. If you were to get one, I'd recommend the new Hotslings adjustable -- it's easier to nurse in an adjustable carrier IMO, as the proper and comfortable carrying position is often higher than the nursing position. I'd try out the Hug a Bub for baby, and you can always easily push aside the fabric on one side for DD to get to to nurse. Wearing some sort of nursing shirt or nursing tank with a button front shirt will make access to the breast a lot easier.

Ah, the world of tandem nursing a toddler and wearing a baby. I'm there right now!

I find that easy access carriers work best. My two favorites are a ring sling or a wrap. They both allow me to nurse both at the same time if needed or to nurse the toddler while wearing the baby. A pouch would work as well and I particular like the new Hotslings adjustable pouch, vs. a pouch that is not adjustable.
