So I remember being told to avoid all soft cheese, like feta, while pregnant b/c they have higher levels of bacteria. Well I have been eating goat cheese that is pasturized and remember what I had been told 4 years ago. Which cheeses are safe and which are not, and why? I asked my midwife and she had not heard much information about b/c shee took a 6 year break awhile back when they made this"rule". So can I still eat my goat cheese, in moderation of course.
