Sadie was 7 lbs. 8 oz. at birth, 4 weeks ago tomorrow. I have sworn for 4 weeks that it seems like all I do is feed this child. DS was not a big eater and so this is really new for me. He was in newborn sized clothing for 2 months, but she grew out of hers in 2 weeks.
Well, she was weighed today, and she is...10 lbs. 8 oz.! She has gained 3 POUNDS in 4 weeks. Honestly, DS was 6 lbs. 13 oz. when he was born, so not a lot smaller, and it took him a good 4 months to get to 10 or 11 pounds.
No wonder all I do is sit on the couch and feed her. I'm about delirious from the lack of sleep but hey - she's definitely healthy!
