Mornings are usually a bit crazy - I need to feed the baby and get dd#1 her breakfast and try to feed myself a bit too before getting #1 to school. Not to mention getting everyone dressed and trying to find something with a non-elastic waistband for myself to wear. Anyway, this morning I was able to put the baby down for five minutes and I found myself micro-prioritizing, in other words I had to decide whether to make my hot cereal or go poop.
I have found that I can put the baby down for longer and longer stretches now without her getting upset, but I do notice that I'm always prioritizing tasks because my time with two hands available is so minimal.
Is everyone doing this and how are you handling it? What are you doing with your five minutes?

But when she is fussy or just wants to be rocked to sleep or cuddle of course she's all mine. I can be pretty selfish with my baby girl. So my extra time is usually spent on going to the potty, cleaning something or eating.
