Pale gums.

Roscoe's gums are pale...have been the whole time we've had her. Now, granted... she was infested with fleas and worms. The fleas are gone, the worms are getting under control. She eats and drinks all right...but she's a sleepy puppy, which I know is another sign of anemia. She's going to the vet in a few days (have to wait for payday)...is there anything I can do in the meantime to help her along?

When you lift up her lip and look at her gums, use your thumb to press down on her gum. The tissue should turn white, then go back to pink. How long does it take for the gum to return to pink? (This is her capillary refill time.)

When I press on her gums, the turn a bit white and then quickly pink up, barely. They're still really pale. I'll get a picture of them tonight.
