Overnight inserts?

I've been using a fuzzi bunz stuffed with 2 inserts and a microfiber towel (from the auto section) and that's been working great, but it's HUGE! Is there an insert I can buy that would have similar absorbency, but be trimmer? My dd is almost 16 months and still nurses all night long. My current inserts are soaked by morning.

I'm not familiar with how bulky those particular inserts are, but I've been having good luck with the babykicks hemp inserts, they hold a LOT of pee and aren't too bulky, even for my NB.

We really do well combining hemp and mf together. it's a great, absorbant, trim combo.

Knickernappies LoopyDo inserts are a combination of hemp and microfiber that might work well for you. You can check out their reviews on DiaperPin.

I do a microfiber insert with a hemp/terry Super-Do Insert folded over int the pee spot. It's pretty big in the crotch for ds but smaller than my other options as he is a huge wetter.

I use a BK trifolded hemp pf and joeybunz. very trim and work great!

I like the Super Do, it works great. Only time it hasn't worked is when our daughter has had to move up to the next size and we held off too long!

I'm a bamboo fan. I know I've seen bamboo (and I think zorb in the middle) inserts on Etsy for a reasonable price, but I haven't tried them. I'm making my own inserts though. Bamboo velour and zorb in the middle to try. I'm just not a fan of hemp myself, but I also know a lot of people love it. (I never had stinky hemp issues either, I just never found hemp to be great on its own, though when combined with other fabrics I could see it being great.

Hmm...maybe I'll get a little bit of hemp to sandwich in between bamboo velour too and see which works better. Thanks for the idea!
