Do your dry your PUL diapers in the dryer?

I would really appreciate a quick-ish answer. My washing machine broke last week, and while the service tried to fix it, my diapers and other laundry has been building up. Now, they told me it can't be fixed, and I'll be without a washing machine for another day.

Today I'm gonna send all the laundry to a laundry service which comes to your house, washes and dries the stuff, irons if you want to and then delivers it back to your home address. Sounds wonderful to me especially since my bedroom is FULL of dirty laundry from more than a week, and DD has been peeing in her pants multiple times a day.

I would really love to send my pocket diapers there as well. So, can PUL handle being machine dried, since air drying is not an option for them? I don't have a dryer myself and always air dry . Or do you think I should just send the inserts away with the laundry service and hold the PUL pockets back?

Thanks for your thoughts

I usually hang dry my pul but they have also made it into the dryer on occassion with no problems. Pul is incredibly resistant - I'd send them!

I usually air-dry my covers but occasionally toss them in a hot dryer to re-seal the PUL. Hasn't hurt them yet.

Yes I almost always machine dryed my pul covers. I actually found I had far less problems with leaks doing this than allowing them to always air dry.

Yes, I try my PUL stuff, but my concern with the service would be what detergent they would use on the pocket diapers. I would ask that, and make sure they won't use any added stuff (like fabric softener or something).

But I do think it would be totally great to not have to do laundry for a week!

We use a service like this whenever we visit my in-laws in Mexico. The place is a block down from the house so we drop it off and pick it up, but we do laundry there once or twice and always come home with clean clothes instead of dirty! Yay for laundry service!

I always dry my PUL diapers- I just make sure that it is on low heat. I would love to hang dry them but I don't usually have the time.

I sent three diapers in the end, as well as all my inserts. They are absolutely fine and of course I now wish I had sent them all . It's so wonderful not to have to do your own laundry... They washed, dried and ironed all my clothes and I feel really lazy and luxurious! Thanks for the replies, I really do wish I had listened and sent all my dipes but I was afraid to ruin them .
