Ok, so now the lack of symptoms is really getting to me - though I know I shoul just be appreciating it! Took another test this morning, 2nd line super dark, but it is so hard to believe you are pregnant when your body isn't acting any differently. Oh well, at least this is par for the course, normal for me. Is it 12 weeks yet?

DDC crashing here. I gotta say I was on the same boat as you, and still am. This is #3 for me and I have had m/s every time except this time. Im feeling really good this time around and it scared me. Of course you will hear everyone tell you that m/s doesnt mean a healthy baby or vise versa. You can have a healthy baby without any symptoms as every woman is different, every baby is different and every pregnancy is different. Having said that I had an appointment early this week at 12 weeks and I was freaking out because of still no m/s. I took a pg test again before my appointment and of course it was pos. Later on in the day I had an awesome u/s and baby was moving all around! I know we should see it as a blessing and just very lucky to be feeling well but its replaced with constant worry. Anyway... Im sure everything is fine just enjoy it!

Another crasher.....not pg anymore but with my last three pregnancies I had NO symptoms whatsoever other than a missed period - the SECOND month in. I was 11wks when we figured out I was pg with our 3rd and 10wks when we figured out the twins were on the way. With the twins I had some slight nausea starting about that time - hence the reason we took a test. With my 2nd and 3rd children I had nothing at all til I felt them moving. Nothing - no peeing, no vomiting/nausea. Just some slightly sorer boobs!
My first child was awful - nausea all day long, vomiting until about 17wks....zits, boobs...peeing nonstop! The whole shebang!
Ironically, the first was a girl, the last 4 were boys....

I'm not experiencing very many symptoms at all. With my first two (girls) I had way more nausea, heartburn, and was SUPER SENSITIVE to smells (causing me to gag noisily). This time I hardly have any nausea or heartburn at all. Super super minimal. Just the very rare odd flicker of boob pain. Nothing to write home about. The only thing I feel is very sleepy and fatigued. But otherwise I'm feeling great.
Does this mean I'll have a boy this time, do you think?

I am still relatively symtpom-free...feeling pretty blah/queasy when I wake up in the morning, but thatgoes away by late morning when I finally get hungry and eat...been passing out at about 8:30, but other than that pretty darn normal. I am trying to remind myself that not having symptoms is completey normal and that you can be just as pregnant as someone with terrible nausea...just lucky. I have my first U/S this coming Wednesday, and I am hoping that it will ease my mind about whether there is truly a little bean growing in there! Wed can't come soon enough!

My first two pregnancies -a boy and girl- were very symptom free. Sore boobs and some heart burn towards the end. And they ended in easy births.
THIS time I have slight nausea, I just feel blah like most of the day. Not bad enough to throw up or not eat but constant. It makes me a little nervous for the rest of my pregnancy

I'm so glad to see this thread bumped up again! I'm in the same boat, and was just about to start a similar thread when I saw this! I am just barely starting to feel "pregnant." Of course, I've never been pregnant before, so how would I even know?
I'm 6 weeks today, and this is all I've got: some gassiness (not unusual for me anyway), hungry a lot (but I was renowned for my appetite before, and I don't know if I'm really hungrier than usual), breasts slightly sore, but less so than they were at first, and it varies by time of day, and some very occasional abdominal soreness/twinges/stretching that could also be attributable to gas (gross, I know). Temps still up.
No food aversions. No nausea. No more tiredness than usual.
That's. It! Oh, EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT MY PERIOD IS TWO WEEKS LATE. Guess that's the big one, right?
At any rate, it's immensely reassuring to hear these other tales of low/no-symptom pregnancy. Maybe I am just lucky--my mom said she didn't get MS with us. Still, that's not gonna stop me from buying a 3-pack of high quality tests just to see the dark line for my own peace of mind.

I started getting m/s with my DS at 5.5 weeks, and while I am only 4w4d I am already freaking because the symptoms I had seems to be going away.
The only real symptoms I have had are a crampiness in my lower abdomen, slight (I mean slight, hits and leaves in minutes) nausea, and a tiny bit lightheaded every now and then. The soreness in my boobs have left, although they still feel quiet full.
I think it is so scary because I feel like I am losing symptoms. I am freaked out because I was so sick last preg, and the symptoms were definitely there and this preg, they are already leaving.
Give me sickness I say, cause I wanna know everything is ok!

Me too! I really don't WANT symptoms, and I'm still pretty early, so I really don't want to be wishing for some vicious morning sickness to kick in next week during week 6, but MAN! I want a window to my little sesame see down there. I had wicked cramping the first week which let off last week, and I've got a sore boob (just my right, which is odd, and something I plan to mention to the MW), and I'm a bit more tired, but I'm also without my beloved coffee. I had no sickness with DD as long as I ate regular snacks and lots of protein, a little nausea here and there, and it was so tough waiting for the first ultrasound at 7 weeks (I had to BEG!) and then the heartbeat at 12 weeks and then movement. You never really stop worrying, but it is so tough in these early weeks. I have even fewer symptoms than I remember with DD, so I'm finding it hard to think in terms of anything other than "If" right now.

I only had some mild food averions with DS (11 months now), and so far NOTHING except really tired with this one. Of course, since I started going to bed when DS does (7:30), I'm not even that tired now. I've taken many tests, and I have my first appt tomorrow. Hopefully I can get an early ultrasound.

this is really interesting! I wonder if we really do respond differently because of our baby's sex. Seems like we do.
With ds, I had zero symptoms throughout my pregnancy. I felt wonderful!
But now I feel like total crap! I'm not even 6 weeks yet and I'm super nauseous in the mornings, horrible headaches at night and overall exhausted. Maybe I'm having a girl!

This thread is comforting. I've been having mild waves of nausea and heartburn every morning - totally different from the constant nausea of my last to pregnancies. I'm dreading/hoping for some sort of increase in symptoms this coming week. Isn't it awful to be in this love/hate relationship with nausea?

I felt what was possibly a teeny tiny bit of nausea this morning in the shower, but I'm guessing if I'm not even sure it counts, it doesn't. Six weeks one day here. I'm in a feeling nervous funk. I go back and forth between needing to know NOW the health of the baby and what's really happening in my body, and being much more relaxed/excited about it, feeling confident and strong and happy.

Thanks for this thread. Still no extreme symptoms. I've been feeling a little more tired than usual and peeing every 20 minutes, but I eat all the time and haven't felt nausea. I grabbed as many barf bags from the plane the last time I flew...and I haven't needed one!
I'm just trying to take good care of my body and trust that everything's okay.
