Does My TTC # Start Over?

Hi Ladies, I usually post in the TTC thread but since DH and I are quickly approaching our (gulp) 12 month (December) mark of TTC I am already looking onto what my options are for infertility treatment.

My question is, since I had a chemical pregnancy this last June would my TTC # of months have started over or does a CP "not count"?

I know my OB and local RE wont even consider me for infertility options until that 12 month mark.

Your experience much appreciated.

i think since a CP isn't 'sucessfully' getting out of ttc, you would count that cycle as a ttc cycle. i know for other ladies with frequent m/c's that gets counted as potentially part of the ttc problem (not just a problem concieving, but a problem keeping the baby in there)

Medically, no, but if you have infertility coverage through health insurance, they may make you start over, though the threshold is sometimes a pregnancy confirmed by ultrasound.

Personally - I wouldn't mention it unless you've already told your doctor about it. Docs don't seem to take a "chemical" or early miscarriage very seriously, in my experience.

Sorry for your loss, and good luck with the (in)fertility industry.
