Just read the last nourished kitchen post and now am hankering to make some "healthy" treats for my DH and I before going out tomorrow. Anyone have a recipe for Yogurt Taffy? How about a grain-free molasses cookie? Any other brilliant ideas? THANKS!

Here is a recipe for Arrowroot Sugar Cookies. Try cutting with various cookie cutters into the shapes of pumpkins, bats, ect. to make them be a spookier Halloween treat.
Ingrediants:
1 1/2 cups of rapadura sugar
1 cup of butter
2 teaspoons of vanilla
4 egg yolks
2 1/2 cups of arrowroot or tapioca flour (or a combination of both)
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375.
Cream together rapadura sugar and butter.
Add vanilla and egg yolks.
Sift in the rest of the ingrediants.
Roll out on a floured board, or table.
Cut into shapes. Put on buttered or parchment-covered cookie sheet and bake 6-8 minutes or until slightly golden.
Take out of oven and let cool to (optional) frost with cream cheese and raw honey frosting.
Enjoy!
