Hi Everyone! I know this thread comes up a lot and I've read through the archives, but just looking for any new feedback, recommendations, thoughts, etc!
We're expecting our 4th baby in Feb. Not happy with Generations midwives this time around (although my 3rd son was a good experience with them, and other two were born in another state). So we are already half way through the pregnancy, but really feeling a desire to switch our care.
After reading the archives and browsing online, I've called and left messages with Jeanne Bazille, Amy Johnson-Grass (like that she is a ND), and Rolla Crandall. I haven't met any of them before but like what I read. I talked to Jane Kirby by phone and have an appt to meet her next week.
Any more suggestions? I would like to water birth as with my last baby I didn't want to get out of the bathtub at St.John's even as he was crowning and so the midwife suggested I do a water birth next time, lol. I was very upset about having to get out of the water (it was not a birthing tub).
Anyone that is willing to work out a payment plan is very important as I can't pay much upfront, but can make regular payments.
We also need someone near NE Minneapolis, or that can get here without too much traffic delay etc, as my babies come quick. Last one was 2 hours from the first very faint contraction to him in my arms.
Thank you so much, mamas!
